Canterbury Cathedral

 Just after Christmas we spent a day in Canterbury. It was bright but freezing cold. we've never been to the Cathedral so decided to give it a go. It is beautiful inside, lots of colourful widows and the intricate work on the ceilings is really awe inspiring.

 Some of these windows were removed during the war to protect them from being blown to smithereens by the Germans. Imagine putting some of thee back together again.

 Just love these colours.

 The cloisters. The church community used the cloisters to get from one part of the buildings to the other without having to go outside.
