Jo has sent me some photos from the baby sensory session that I went to with her and Georgie. It's easier to post them as a separate blog, so that's what I've done.
A little massage to start with.
Enthralled by the rope lights.
Look up George ☝π
Who put these silly ears on me? Mummy π
So, this is nanna and me on the floor, no idea how she's going to get up againπ΅
It was a really lovely experience and I'm so pleased that I've had the opportunity to be part of it. We had nothing like this when I was a young mum. In fact I don't think fibre optic lights like these had been invented then. Babies generally were plonked in a pram in the garden or put into a play pen, AKA cage and that was about it. I don't think anyone then considered the fact that babies needed stimulation or indeed that they could even enjoy it.
What I haven't said is that after nearly all these activities the mummies all trot off and meet for lunch in a cracking little place called Louisa's in Market Harborough Win win all round I'd say π
It was lovely to have you there π
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! And lunch too - definitely a winner!
