Wales , The Gwrdu.

I've done several posts from the Gwrdu before so I've not got much more to post about it. However, since the last time we were there a new bathroom has been added. The outside toilet and the inside bathroom have been knocked into one big room and eventually will make three bathrooms. The work isn't finished , the room dividers still need to be put in but it gave us the opportunity to take some silly photos.
So, to explain, there will be three separate rooms, each with a shower, toilet and hand basin. A passage will run down the side of the room. It has been designed so that all the rooms will be wet rooms. The problem with that is that it's so cold and unheated that the floor takes forever to dry, so if you need to use the toilet you're paddling across a wet floor. The biggest issue though is that because there is precious little water pressure you can only use one shower at a time. Running water or flushing the loo takes all the water from the shower. So all three will never be able to be used at the same time anyway. There is another toilet, shower and basin in the foreground just out of sight.
The blokes pretending( I think) to have a group wee.
And another wee!

I've just had a look at these photos a bit more closely and it would seem that Med hasn't changed his position very much. I do seem to remember that he was miming quite enthusiastically at one point. That is until Val told him off!!

Here we are all ready for our bi-annual trek to the reservoir.

We always have a photo call on this bridge

It really is quite beautiful in bleak sort of way

On Sunday we drove up through Snowdonia National Park to a seaside town called Barmouth. It was glorious. Hugh sandy beaches, some sand dunes and lovely blue water

                                                  Time for a snooze
There was also a little harbour

Brilliant name for a shop

Back at the ranch and it was time for a barbie. The weather wasn't too good so the blokes set up in the barn
Ray didn't fancy Richmond sausages so decided to go and kill his own meat with this handy home made spear😄
 Nom nom.

Altogether for breakfast before we have to pack up and head home
Ray hates sitting still so spends all his time chopping wood. Not sure about him bringing it in in a wheelbarrow though.
