After weeks of worrying about whether the kitchen would be usable, the decision was made.It would!! The cookers were in and a temporary worktop was in place. Nick was confident that he could cook Christmas lunch and cook he did. It was perfect. The room was a bit chilly but otherwise ok.
Lovely tree. Opening just a few presents.
This was a "dad" present. Nick had bought them each a present but I have no idea what it is. Phoebe was clearly pleased with it.
So after getting up at 6:30 and being mega excited all day Nick finally succumbed to sleep.๐ Just joking. He did have a snooze but Phoebe had a long sleep, bless her. The joys of getting older eh Phoebe?
So many presents.
We had a really lovely time.
Thanks family Aldrich. We love you xx
MALCOLM'S BIRTHDAY.
It's become a bit of a tradition to have a get together for Malcolm's birthday. We were lucky this year as Emma wasn't working and Jo and Andy were able to come as well so we had a house full.George in action unwrapping a present
A whole tin of beer. What could be better?
He loved it.
Abigail got Mancala. A huge favourite with Madelyn.
Turned out shite again๐
Phoebe being silly with Madelyn's Stretch-kin.
Andy being silly with his camera
Gorgeous kiddywinks showing off the soft toys auntie Vicky sent.
Just love these two. Always smiling.
I bought Madelyn some kinetic sand for her birthday. It's weird stuff, it can be moulded and shaped but then turns back into grains when you move it. She loved it. Wills and Abs enjoyed playing with it too.
We had a lovely day. Vicky Gill, we missed you.๐ข
