A DAY AT CAMBER SANDS AUGUST 2015

Jo came down for a few days during the summer holidays. The weather was glorious so we made the most of it and shot down to Camber Sands. It was packed but we managed to find ourselves a good spot.
Madelyn soon got Grandad organised and before long they were building sand castles

This is your spade, I'll have the pink one

Just wait granddad!

 I'll collect some sand

I need quite a lot I think.
Nabbed by mummy for some sun cream.

All done

A quick paddle, it was a bit chilly

 Collecting shells

Help me mummy

The best part of building castles is knocking them down and sitting in the hole

Quick rinse off in the sea

Shall we go for a swim?
We stayed for most of the day and scoffed chips and ice cream on the beach. We all declined Grandad's offer of cockles though.
A perfect day
