Weekend with the Ellis Family. March 2015

Jo and Andy asked us if we would mind looking after Madelyn so that they could go to an exhibition in Birmingham. Saturday was ballet and "Mini Jiffs" followed by Mc Donald's

The weather was fabulous on Sunday so we went to Stanwick Lakes. Madelyn took her bike and Andy and I took our new cameras. I'm not too good with mine. I'm so desperate to take a snap that I end up rushing and only get half the subject in the frame.

 So, lovely sunny day, lots of families having a walk, dogs, ducks ....... And Daleks??

There were also some random robots

    They were cyber men or something. There were also lots of Doctor Who's wandering about. Apparently they were raising money for charity but I'm not sure how.

Anyway, it was all a bit boring for small girls so we went off to find something more interesting to do.

I'm quite pleased with this 

This was a random mud hut. Not sure what it was supposed to represent or why it was there but it was a good photo opportunity.

Just as were leaving Jo saw a colleague from work. This is her van, all kitted out, it even had a tiny cooker. Thought you would like this Vic.
